First Communion

First Communion instruction is available for any child whose parents feel that he or she is ready to receive the bread and wine (or grape juice) of the Eucharist.  From the table of communion is where Jesus Christ comes with forgiveness, life, and salvation, and where God sends us out to share the good news and to care for those in need. 

While many children receive First Communion instruction during grade 4, all children are welcome and instruction can be adjusted for any age.  If a child is already communing when you come to Prince of Peace, he or she is welcome to continue communing here.
